This month officially marks one year since COVID-19 plagued our society. A lot has changed since then, but one thing this pandemic has made extremely clear is the need to give back. Looking Out For Kids

Established by The Eye Institute (TEI) of Salus University, “Looking Out For Kids” provides vision care services and eyeglasses to thousands of children from the School District of Philadelphia and beyond. With one in four children suffering from an undetected vision problem, “Looking Out For Kids” changes the lives of children and provides them with the vision care that is necessary to ensure academic success. Rebuilding Together Philadelphia

Founded in 2003, Rebuilding Together Philadelphia is a non-profit organization that provides critical home repairs, modifications, and improvements for vulnerable homeowners. Each year, the RTP team and over 1,000 volunteers provide home repairs for 75 to 100 homeowners in the Greater Philadelphia area. Visit their website to discover ways to get involved:

Helen’s Angels

Helen’s Angels is a non-profit organization with the sole purpose of providing support and assistance to individuals and their families who have been impacted by and/or are recovering from breast cancer. To improve the quality of life for those challenged by this disease, Helen’s Angels’ support includes financial and cleaning assistance, guidance and counseling services, and access to wigs. Never Give Up

Never Give Up is a small, local organization dedicated to providing “blessings bags” to the homeless and less fortunate. Filled with non-perishable food items, warm clothing, and hygiene products, these bags fill a critical need for struggling community members. Partnering with other local charities, they often host food and clothing donation drives open to the public.
